As a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Texas, Dr. Qin has 40 years of clinical experience. In 1983, she received her M.D. Degree in China. She studied both Western and Acupuncture Chinese medicine.
After becoming an M.D in China, she practiced extensively as an internist in the Emergency Room, Medical Clinic, and Hospital in Luoyang, China and Berlin, Germany. In 2000, she relocated to Austin, Texas. Her background in Chinese and Western Medicine gives her unique view of each patient's health and allows her to provide patients with the best services.
Dr. Qin has successfully treated numerous people for a wide range of disease. Her goal is to use a natural alternative route to treat the root causes of your problems and not just symptoms. She views each patient’s body and mind as a unique and integrated system. She is dedicated to bring her patients to the healing, balance, maintenance, prevention and long-term well-being.
Dr. Qin also serves as a clinical supervisor at the Academy of Oriental Medicine, where she instructs her acupuncture students on how to build a bridge between Chinese medicine and western medicine based on her medical background.
